Dr. Patricia Griffin has a B.A. from Baylor University, 1966 and a Ph.D. in
International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, 1971. Dr. Griffins
fields are international relations, Far Eastern politics and American politics. Dr.
Griffin was formerly on the faculty of Cabrini College, Rice University and University of
Houston before coming the Texas A & M in 1982. She has over 20 years of teaching
experience at the college level. Recently, she has been teaching large sections (250-300
students each) of the introductory American Government class. In 1998 Dr. Griffin was
honored for her teaching by having a "Fish Camp" named for her.
